ASK DR. SCHELLING My cat, George has a lump on his right leg and I think it is where he received one of his vaccines. Should I be worried? –Susan |
|||
Dear Susan, It may just be a localized reaction to the vaccine, BUT—I take all lumps in vaccination areas very seriously as it could also be a vaccine associate sarcoma which is a type of tumor that needs to be addressed promptly. Please call your veterinarian and bring George in for an examination. Click here to read more about vaccine associated sarcomas. … … … …Dr. Schelling is now on Facebook! JUMBO WILD CAT'S TAIL: Jumbo is right! This baby is big enough to cuddle full body with! I love rolling all over it trying to soak up every ounce of catnip goodness. You'd think this toy is big enough for two but keep your paws off—this catnip toy is mine. KONG ZOOM GROOM: I love a good grooming session and the Kong Zoom Groom has become my new favorite brush. Its soft rubber bristles feel great and help promote healthy hair and skin while removing my loose fur. Have a favorite product you want to review? Send it to askfancy@mewsletter.com |
